Pelisi Foketi Fonua Tu'amoheloa aka "Baby Perry" was born on June 20, 2012 at 2:45 am in Salt Lake City, Utah to Samuela Tu'amoheloa and Seluvaia Kau Fonua Tu'amoheloa. As the youngest of 4 he was the Baby and Heart of the family.
On the evening of Friday, September 13, 2013 at 14 months old Perry was called home to our Heavenly Father. Although his time here on Earth was short, he left a lasting impression with everyone and anyone he came in contact with. His contagious smile that brightened any room, deep dimples, big brown eyes, chubby cheeks and unforgettable laugh will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his loving parents, his only sister, Olirena (6), who he adored, and his 2 brothers Karmelo (5) and ‘Enele (4). Further survived by both grandparents, ‘Enele and Kalatisi Tu'amoheloa, Pelisi Fonua Sr., Olipilisi Fifita, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.
"God saw you getting tired, a cure not meant to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, "Come with me!" With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you fade away, although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, your tender hands at rest, God took you home to prove to us, he only takes the best!"
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Salt Lake Tongan Stake Center, 3300 S 4440 West, West Valley, Utah. There will be a visitation on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) and a family viewing from 8:00 am to 10:00 am prior at the ward.
