Harry James Goodro

1937 ~ 2016

Born Jan. 18, 1937 to Margaret Elizabeth Hall and Harry Julius Goodro in SLC. Jim graduated from East High School and the U of U, but his blood ran Cougar blue. Jim has always been a faithful servant of the Lord, setting an example by serving with his wife Pat on four different missions; docents at the Church History Museum, a service mission at Welfare Square, eight years as an ordnance worker in the Jordan River Temple where he served as a coordinator and instructor. His favorite being the Leads, England Mission. Jim Loved good art, music, golf and most of all family.

He is survived by his wife Pat. Children Greg, Bryan, Cami (John), Curt (Kayce), and Tyler (Rebecca), 16 grand children, and 2 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11 am at the River Ridge 7th ward, 1300 W. 10124 S. next to the Jordan River Temple. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy, and on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am at the ward.
