Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ilona Nicolaides passed away November 14, 2015 at the age of 87. She was born to Max and Gabriele Nabrotzky on July 26, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married George James Nicolaides in Elko, Nevada.
Ilona is survived by her children: Steve (JoAnne), Kathleen (John) Clayton, John (Stephanie) and Laura Lee (Rick) Finnerty. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and sister Sonja Fellmeth.
She is preceded in death by her husband George James Nicolaides, parents Max and Gabriele Nabrotzky, grandson Christopher J. Clayton and sister Maureen Brown.
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 12 pm at Salt lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue N Street. There will be a viewing on Thursday, November 19 from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to graveside services at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT.
