Guestbook/Condolences

Leon was an amazing man, he let my husband and I rent out his basement for a few and would even make us some food occasionally. We were good friends with his younger children and would even visit him when we visited his son and his wife. His presence and conversation will be heavily missed and his memories will be forever held! Thank you, Leon, and may you rest peacefully.

I was fortunate to meet Leon when he hired me for my first job in the Mortgage Industry at Meracor Mortgage/Bank. This would launch a 35 year career for me. Leon and I remained friends over all these years. We would speak twice a year...once in October on my Birthday and once in May for his... I spoke to Leon this past October- he thanked me for my friendship and our visits over all of these years. We talked about his health challenges, his growing family and he bore his testimony of the eternal truths he has always known regarding celestial families. Leon was a mentor and great friend to me- One memorable conversation we had a few years ago was when he shared a favorite poem of his
"they say that life is a highway and the milestones are the years and now and then there's a toll gate where you pay your way with tears"
Till we meet again- I will miss you
