Mellissa Rae Piep Rushworth passed away at the age of 44, on January 10, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mellissa was born in Salt Lake City on July 13, 1969 to LeRoy Allen Piep Sr. and Patricia Anne Piep.
Mellissa enjoyed being around her family and friends. She loves to hang and color with her nieces and nephews and was very crafty. She was loved by everyone who met her.
She is survived by her son Lawnie Piep; one grandchild Jaimesson Piep; and three sisters, Vickie (Brent) Foote, Pammilla (Victor) Perez and Christel (Lysle) Wilson. Preceded in death by her parents and one brother, LeRoy Allen Piep Jr.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Sandy, Utah. Interment will be held at a later date.
