Our beloved Mother, grandmother, sister and friend Carol Mae Harris Trottier married to Ray Frank Trottier (deceased) passed away at the age of 76 with her loving family by her side on December 27, 2013 at IMC Hospital. Carol is survived by her sister Claudia Van Leeuwen, her brother Steve Harris, and her six children; Linea, Lisa, David, Duaine, Darrell and Douglas Trottier as well as her 5 grandchildren. Carol was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Fern Reynolds Harris and Steve Harris on June 27, 1937.
In life Carol taught by her own example the true meaning of unconditional love, generosity, acceptance and kindness. Carol shined with joy in her heart and loved to laugh finding humor in the simplest of actions. Carol will be truly missed and the love we share will bind us together until we meet again. All family and friends are welcome to attend the viewing on Friday January 3, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the LDS Chapel located on 4350 South 1100 East. An additional viewing will be held before funeral services on Saturday January 4, 2014 from 9:00 till 10:45 followed by funeral services at 11:00 at 4350 South 1100 East with internment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
