Charles Frederick Todd

1952 ~ 2015

Chuck was a man who broke rocks to make fire. He paused for beauty and moved the earth to find it. His hard working hands would scrape against silk or the keys of his piano, and the blackened lines found in his palms and his fingertips were as deep as the mountains and valleys he climbed. He was kind and meek, slow to anger and quick to smile. He was an April Fools babe true to form. No one loved Chuck jokes more than Chuck. He was authentic, loyal and genuine. He wore jeans to preach the gospel. He found God in the desert, in the neighbor's home and on the church pew. Despite whatever storm, he was forever steadfast and immovable in his faith. He showed his gratitude for God's superabundant love by serving others, and he served well. He said YES to adventure and was never to be trumped by a trail, a slope, a gorge, a river, or a peak. He carried boys on his back and let them lead the way as he humbly stepped in their shadows. He rode his bike to work like a horse in the snow. He was born by a hard worker and lived as one. The TWAMCO trailers he built were like a locomotive, and his sweat for the family legacy was found in the joints of the metal. He loved his wife Janeen deeply, as she became the calm to his storm and his place of refuge in the wilderness. He lived well, played hard, and died encircled in the arms of his loving family. We love you Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Brother and Friend. God be with you until we meet again.

He is survived by his wife Janeen, children; Duston (Kate), Jody, Jennifer (Jason), and Emily. His grandchildren; Alanna, Ava, Owen, and Emma.
