With your hand in mine you struggled for your last breath. Words are not adequate enough to capture the overwhelming grief and unspeakable love that was lost. Our father, grandfather, brother, uncle and lifelong friend went home.
Pete Valencia born 11/25/46 passed away with family at his side on 11/21/14.
Preceded in death by Father ‚ Pete, Mother ‚ Margaret, and brothers Ron, Tito, and Tim. Survived by son, Peter (Dana) Valencia and daughter, Gina. Three granddaughters ‚ Nataleigh (Derrick) Nielson, Jasmine and Megan Valencia. Two Great Grandsons, Draven and Ashton Nielson. One sister, Two brothers and numerous family members that loved him.
From a youthful sportsman to passionate golfer, a self-made musician to teacher, draftsman and engineer. His reach had no boundaries and he let life take him where it may. No matter how hard death tries it can't separate love. A part of our hearts went with you, remember us and keep it safe.
A memorial gathering will be held in Pete's honor on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. ‚ 5:00 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary ‚ Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South, Riverton, Utah.
