Delbert Mitchell passed away on July 12, 2017 surrounded by family in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born on December 5, 1938 to Melvin Mitchell and Frances Tolbert. He married Myrel Gowers on December 30, 1959.
He is survived by his children: Sons Tracy (Courtenay), Ron (Rozan), Del (Cindy) Daughter Melanie (Mark) King. Grandchildren: Jacque (Michael) Newman, Loni (Trevor) Bowler, Tallie (Rusty) Shortridge, Kardin (Mariah) Mitchell, Brooke Mitchell, Thisa, Jerri, Mark Jr., Sawyer King and 10 amazing great grandchildren. Siblings: Gene, Lawana, and David.
Preceded in death by parents and siblings Gerald, Berdene, Vernon, Zetland Garland, and Ella Mae.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi, UT. A viewing will take place for friends and family on Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Larkin Mortuary in Riverton (3688 West 12600 South).
