It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Warren Yasuo Miyahira, who left us unexpectedly on August 16, 2025.
Born in Oahu, Hawaii, Warren was the cherished son of Esther Naeole and Yasuo Miyahira. He was a man of quiet strength, warm humor, and a deep, unwavering love for his family.
Warren was a devoted brother to Eileen and a loving husband to the late Tammy Miyahira. Together, Warren and Tammy built a life filled with love and laughter, raising their son, Moke, who became their greatest joy and pride. When Moke married Kathy, Warren’s happiness grew even greater, especially with the arrival of his granddaughter, Landee. Becoming a grandfather was one of Warren’s most treasured blessings. Landee quickly became the center of his world.
Those who knew Warren will remember his kindness, easygoing spirit, and quick wit. He had a gift for making people feel heard, valued, and at home. Warren found joy in life’s simplest moments, sharing a cold beer with family and friends, exchanging laughter, and offering thoughtful advice. He didn’t need much to be happy. For him, family, friendship, laughter, and good company were more than enough. His steady presence, warm smile, and generous heart will be deeply missed.
A viewing and gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary Riverton (3688 W. 12600 S. Riverton, UT 84065).
In honor of Warren’s laid-back spirit, guests are encouraged to dress casually just as he would have wanted.
Flowers may be sent directly to Larkin Mortuary.
