Wendy Diane Huffman

Wendy Diane Huffman, Salt Lake City, Utah, peacefully passed on February 9, 2025, after a very long and hard-fought battle with diabetes. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William and Shirley Huffman.She is survived by her siblings, Steve and Julie Huffman, as well as Steve’s wife Sharon. She is also survived by her daughter Diane, her husband Robert and their two children, Abby and Max.

William Huffman was a civil engineer and he worked on many big construction projects, taking the family for years at a time, all over the country. Wendy always handled the change with grace and usually made lifelong friends.She was a straight-A student, warm and friendly to those fortunate enough to meet her.

After college (University of California Santa Barbara) she became an invaluable administrative assistant to several professionals. Two of her employers stand out as Hooper Knowlton, III and Robert Edwards. She was a trusted, well-regarded and hardworking employee.

Along with her professional and personal achievements, she was a gifted pianist, singer, and artist.

A service will be held at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84108, on March 18 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
