William F. Attridge (age 87), born May 30, 1936, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away on January 9, 2024, due to the effects of Parkinsons Disease.
“Bill” is preceded in death by his parents, William James Attridge and Thelma Marie Jensen Attridge, sisters Joan Johnston (Jack) and June Hubbard (John), his in-laws, Lewis and Edna Charlesworth, sister-in-law, Myrna Richards, and brother-in-law, Robert Charlesworth (Peggy deceased) and (Carol).

Bill is survived by his eternal companion and love of his life, Carol “Lynne” Charlesworth Attridge, his brothers Robert Attridge (Betty) and David Attridge (Julie), his five children, Laurie Snider (Kent), Rachelle Van Vranken (Ross), Paul Attridge, Renee Sigman (Tony), Karalyn Lee (Eric), brother-in-law Dennis Charlesworth (Judy), 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Bill graduated from Rupert High School in Rupert, Idaho, although he attended Medford, Oregon schools up until the last few months of this senior year. Bill was very patriotic and loved his country. Upon graduation he joined the Army and served three years in the U.S. 82nd Airborne and was Honorably Discharge. He attended ISC in Pocatello, ID until he was called on an LDS mission to the Northwestern States. He was a very faithful and successful missionary and it helped him further develop a firm foundation of the gospel and strong a testimony. Bill loved our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. He was a High Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in several positions, but his favorite was serving in the Cub Scouts with his beloved wife, Lynne.

Bill was a very hard worker and a loyal employee. He worked mainly in the aerospace and aeronautics field. He loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, skiing, woodworking, and working in his large yard and garden. He loved and supported his family with all his heart, and loved his eternal companion, Lynne, and treated her like a queen. They were sealed in the Logan, Utah Temple on July 15, 1966, and were married for 57 years.

The family would like to express their love and gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Riverton Hospital, South Jordan Beehive House, A Plus Hospice and all of the friends and family who selflessly loved and cared for Bill.

Memorial Services will be held on January 19, 2024, at 12:00 pm (with visitation at 11:00 am), at the Riverton 9th Ward, 2700 W 13400 S, Riverton, UT, with interment at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park at Camp Williams, 17111 S 1700 W, Bluffdale, UT.
