Winifred Ann Prato passed away on June 16, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family.
Winifred grew up in Hollywood, California. Her mother, Ruth Wagstaff, was a film cutter in Hollywood for silent films.
Winifred loved the ocean and the sun. She also loved riding horses in Hollywood Stables in California and in El Dorado Hills, CA with her mother, Ruth.
She was a single parent raising 3 children in California and worked for Max Factor Corporation. She went back to get her High School Diploma with her son, John Henderson in 1966.
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her beloved husband, John L. Prato, who she was married to for over 50 years, her 3 children: John Henderson, Deborah Davenport, and Roberta Henderson, 9 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
May she rest in our Lord's peace.
Services will be held at11:00 am on Monday, June 21 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy UT. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
