Our sweet dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at home on January 2, 2019. Alan was born on June 17, 1927, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Albert John Cope, Sr. and Ethel Mabel Wesson Ludlow Cope. He married his sweetheart, Shirley Bagley, May 21, 1954, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
