Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend, Renee Kunz Kelsch, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, March 8, 2015. In West Jordan, Utah.
Renee was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, September 15, 1940. She graduated from Granite High School in 1958 and married Gary Kelsch May 6, 1960. Renee loved being around people, and was known for her friendly smile and contagious laugh. She loved receiving calls on her birthday from her many friends, children, and grandchildren and she enjoyed being the first one to call them in return. She touched many people\s lives with her thoughtfulness, and she found joy in giving and sharing with others. Her home was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay or a helping hand. Renee was the mother of thirteen children who were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Ellen Kunz and her son Steven. She is survived by her husband Gary Kelsch, her twelve children, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Viewings will be held at the Larkin Mortuary - Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South, on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and also on Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to services.
