Patricia Anderson Gurr passed away naturally December 31, 2013. She was born January 23, 1933 to Scott Raymond "Andy" Anderson and Emma Lavon "Bonnie" Anderson.
Patricia earned a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, from The University of Utah, and an Ed. D. Educational Administration from Brigham Young University; enjoying a life-long career as a teacher and administrator with the Granite School District. In addition to her notable career, Patricia was blessed with a sensitive artistic touch expressed in her home, needlework, and paintings.
Later in life, Patricia and her husband Del travelled the world extensively enjoying extraordinary beauty and culture.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband; Delmar Smith Gurr, her daughters; Judith Lynn Marciante (Tony), and Pamela Rose Nelson (Keith), her sons; Scott Raymond Thorson (Terese), and "Rob" Anderson Thorson (Jeanette), and her sister; Pamela McQuarrie (Howard). The family invites those who knew and loved Patricia to a celebration of her life beginning at 2:00 PM at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. There will be a gathering for friends and family one hour prior to the celebration of life.
