Roma Alleman Robison

1931 ~ 2019

Roma Alleman Robison passed away peacefully on January 31, 2019 in Sandy, Utah at the age of 87. She was born September 21, 1931 in Bern, Idaho to Edwin Leonard Alleman and Vera (Humphreys) Alleman,where she attended elementary school. She graduated from Montpelier High School. She went on toreceive her Nursing degree from the Dee Hospital and Utah State University. She worked as a registerednurse at the VA Hospital and later at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City where she met her husband, ArnoldEdgar Robison Jr. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 12, 1958 and have lived inthe Salt Lake area ever since. She gave up nursing for a more important role that she loved, that ofmother. She and dad loved to travel and would spend time driving all over North America. She especiallyloved the family reunions and spending time with her family. She had a sweet shy disposition with apropensity for fun. She was an excellent cook and seamstress always able to pick up talents like knittingor any kind of handwork easily. She loved to garden. Mom and Dad were members of the SugarhouseLions Club for many years. They were also members of the Horseless Carriage Club and enjoyed going ontours with their old Model T Fords and Buicks, even dressing the part in the old clothing, cranking theircars to start them as they toured different areas of the country. Mom is a member of The Church ofJesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has held many different positions throughout the years.

Afterraising her family, she volunteered at the LDS Social Services working with couples and placing babies intheir new homes. She loves to help and serve others. This was so evident through her time spent atSunrise of Sandy where she lived in the memory care area. She would help others get around, push theirwheel chair, tell everyone who cared for her how beautiful they were and that she loved them.

Roma is survived by her 7 children: Karen (Brad) Brimhall, Arnold (Janet) Robison, Michael (Lynette)Robison, Laurie (Zane) Walton, Alan (Jaylynn) Robison, George (Mindy) Robison, Scott (Theresa)Robison; 22 grandchildren; 19 plus great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her adoringhusband, parents and five siblings.We wish to thank the staff at Sunrise of Sandy for their gentle loving care of mom over the years. Wealso thank the nurses at Alta View Hospital for the kindness they showed her as well.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wasatch Hills LDS Wardbuilding, 2255 S. Wasatch Dr., SLC, Utah, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.Interment will be at the Provo City Cemetery (610 S. State St., Provo, Utah) following the funeral service.
