Stanley B Lewis

Stanley B. Lewis of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away April 11, 2016, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Stan was born October 2, 1922, in Richfield, Utah to Ben Lewis Jr. and LaPrele Goodwin Lewis.

Stan was a Naval Seaman during World War II and completed his service honorably. He loved his time in the service and learned many valuable things that he cherished throughout his life. He worked at Kennecott Copper for many years.

Stan married Donna Lewis on July 6, 1956, their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Temple. They had a full 59 years of marriage during which Stan adopted Donna's son, Les. Stan loved his wife and lived to make her happy. Stan had a knack for tinkering and consistently derived more efficient ways to do things until the day he passed.

Stanley is preceded in death by his beloved Donna, parents, siblings, and his son, Les V. Lewis.

A tribute will be held to celebrate Stan's life April 16, 2016 at the LDS church building, 304 East 2700 South, Salt Lake City, UT at 11am in the Relief Society room. Following the service, there will be a small luncheon for family and close friends. We will proceed to Larkin Sunset Lawn 2350 East 1300 South where there will be a Military Tribute and dedication of the niche.
