Sheridan Kelsey Smith-Godfrey passed away at her home on June 24, 2019. She was born in Sandy, UT on Jan. 17, 1992 and raised in South Jordan, Utah. She was the youngest child of David and Tracey Smith. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Married Chad Godfrey on Jan. 1, 2009. Sheridan and Chad were the proud parents of Addison and Aston. Sheridan and Chad were later divorced. In 2018, Sheridan welcomed her third child, Brooklynn, into the world with Brandon Ward. Sheridan's three children were her pride and joy, and her greatest accomplishment. People gravitated toward Sheridan. She was a magnet to friends. Everyone wanted to be around her because of her energetic, loving spirit. Sheridan will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Sheridan is survived by her children, Addison (11), Aston (6) and Brooklynn (1); parents, David and Tracey Smith; brothers, Matthew Smith (Mandi) and Jacob Smith (Audrey); sister, McCall Galhardo (Andre); grandmother, Jessie Dodd and several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11474 South Chapel View Dr., South Jordan, Utah. Family and friends may visit from 9 to 9:45 a.m. prior to the services.
