Atticus Grant Henderson

2016 ~ 2017

Atticus Grant Henderson was truly a miracle baby, born April 3, 2016 to parents who were simply head-over-heals in love with their sweet boy: Katie Bigelow-Schmidt and Dee W. Henderson II. Atti is also survived by doting siblings: Ava, Charlotte, Lilly, Kingston, and Finn; Grandparents: Lynn and Alice Bigelow and Norma Henderson; He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Dee W. Henderson.

Sweet Atti was truly a miracle baby!! He was the manifestation of pure love itself. He IS joy and hope and light to his family, and he radiated it everywhere he went. This sweet boy\s contagious smile, giant, bright eyes, and chubby, dimpled, kissing-cheeks, were just a few of the things that melted our hearts... His giggles never failed to make all of us laugh in response. His \"conversations\" of baby jabbers and gibberish were so earnest and delightful! Darling Atti loved nothing more than to \"discuss\" politics and watch the news with his Papa, while pulling at his face and inspecting teeth. Oh, how he loved his daddy! He loved sitting in his high chair and talking to mama while she made dinner, or going on mommy-dates and running errands....Atti was his mama\s little shadow. He brought a song to her heart, and the past ten months have been filled with nonstop lullabies and laughter. He was so very adored by his brothers and sisters... His favorite game was playing \"chase,\" and crawling as fast as he could while his mom or siblings crawled behind him and let him try to hide, only to be found and overtaken with tickles and kisses and those giggles that we can still hear echoing in our too-quiet house.

Our sweet Atti, Atti-G, Atti-Boo, Baby-Boo, our Little Squishy, Our Darling Boy.... How we ache for you! How our arms long to hold you! How we long for the day when we will be together again! We are so very grateful for the short time we were blessed to have you with us. As unbearable as the pain feels right now- we know that it is because our love for you runs so deep. We will cherish the gift of our time with you every day.... until we meet again, sweet baby.

A celebration of Atti's life will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy, UT. A viewing will be from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
