Cory Jesse Winger

1981 ~ 2017

Cory Jesse Winger passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 4th 2017 at the young age of 35. He was born on August 15th 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He leaves behind many loved ones, including: his parents Tamara Winger Milam and George Maes, his step parents Lynn Knight and Mary Maes, his aunt Janice Clarke whom he loves beyond words, his brothers and sisters: Jaimie Maes-Leon (Danny), Lyndsey Knight (Adam), Jessica Maes, Josh Maes, Mario Fernandez (Monica), as well as many other extended siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that he loved just as much.

As a child Cory was a mellow, well behaved boy with bright blue eyes and brown curly hair. He grew up loving life and lived it to the fullest, always taking risks. As a teenager Cory earned the name ‘Spice' a name many people knew him by. He proudly graduated high school in 1999. He was married in 2010 to Tiffany Sosa, although it didn't work out, his love for her remained strong. He adored and enjoyed picking on his many nieces and nephews. They brought light into his life and made him look forward to having children of his own someday. Recently, he began his newest adventure getting his life on track. He took a job at Maverik and became the best dam cashier they had. He made his customers and coworkers laugh everyday with his goofy personality and they loved the respect he showed for everyone. Cory \Spice\ Winger will be remembered for all his positive and motivating advice, his love for fresh shoes, and his supreme clean demeanor, but mostly his charming personality.

He has rejoined his beloved aunt, Juanita Crandall, his brothers Jesus \Jesse\ Merino and Jonathon Maes, along with many other friends and family where he waits to see us again.

March forth Cory, until we meet again!
