Darlene passed away peacefully on June 13, 2014. She was ready to be reunited with her Father in Heaven and her loved ones that were waiting for her. She was born on January 11, 1917 in Salt Lake City. Married to Karl Francis and John Brewer. She has had the privilege to have 7 children.
Darlene has always welcomed and embraced everyone into her life. She looked for the opportunity to help and serve those around her.
She is survived by her 3 sons and 2 daughters, Karlene Christensen, Clyde (Jeannie) Francis, David Francis, Karl (Darlyn) Francis and Ireta (Ed) Taylor and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husbands and daughters Virginia Christensen and Beverly Shah.
Visitations will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 6-8pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy and at the church Wednesday from 10am to 10:45am prior to the services. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Cannon 4th Ward, 1301 South 1200 West, Salt Lake City. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
