Rob Ward, our loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend passed away on April 27, 2014.
He was born in San Francisco on December 27, 1954 to Paul B and Jeanne Ward in but spent his life in Salt Lake City. Rob graduated from Highland High School and later from the University of Utah. He joined Mountain Bell right out of High School and had a 35 year career with them before retiring in 2007.
Rob loved spending time with his family and loved the family vacations the most.
Rob married Tammy Mower and then Diana Metcalf from which came two daughters Callie Adamson (Mike) and Casey Ward, both of whom he was so proud of. His 6 Grandchildren were the light of his life and enjoyed such a special relationship with Tanner and Easton.
Rob later married Julie Stroud and they've lived happily for the past 6 years along with his little dog and best friend Wilson.
Rob is survived by his mother Jeanne, his wife Julie, brother, John (Jan), sister Barbara (Gregory) Snow, and many Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by is father Paul B. Ward.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 S. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6 ‚ 8 pm and also from 10:00 ‚ 10:45 am prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the charity of your choice.
