Betty Darline Sentker, 86, peacefully passed away at her home on July 2, 2017.Darline (Dar) was born on March 18, 1931 in Kansas City, MO, and moved to SLC, UT in 1963 with her two Daughters, Rhonda and Sherrie. She met her second husband there and had two more daughters, Kimberly and Hollie, and later met her current husband, Craig.She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Craig Sentker; daughters Sherrie Tuttle, Kimberly Kounalis and Hollie Kounalis (son-in-law Peter Giles); Grandchildren Brittianey Miller, Landon Hathenbruck, Jamin Hathenbruck, TJ Tuttle, Jesse Law, Logan Law, Sonny Kounalis, Damon Giles and Oscar (Ozzie) Giles; siblings Edward Barnes, Donald Barnes, Beth Ann Blaine and George Barnes. And she is proceeded in death by daughter Rhonda Hathenbruck, brothers Steve Barnes, Noel Barnes, David Barnes and sister Helena Wilwerding.Dar enjoyed road trips on Craig\s motorcycle when they were younger, and later in their motorhomes across the states as well as to Mexico and Canada; and the many cruises they took together. She also loved her weekly, late night poker games, playing the nickel or penny slots; and all-you-can-eat buffets at Wendover. Darline had a huge heart and besides caring for her own children she could always be counted on to help out her daughter\s friends when they were in need and was thought of by many to be their \second mom\. But most of all she lived for taking care of and loving her nine grandchildren.There will be an open house celebration of her life held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 3 pm until 8 pm at the Sentker home.
