Laverle Ann Parr, beloved wife for 61 years, mother, Nana, and great-grandmother passed away on February 15, 2015 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on July 23, 1934. She was a dedicated caregiver to her beloved daughter Belinda who had special needs. She enjoyed shopping, classical music, ballet, quilting, plays, musicals, world traveling, cooking, gardening, Christmas, Santa, and hot coffee.
She was an extraordinary hostess. Her guests were provided a visual experience, from beautiful gardens to 3 fully decorated Christmas trees. The menu always included a smorgasbord of gourmet food, and scrumptious deserts topped off with coffee.
Ann is survived by her loving husband, William Imon Parr, three beloved daughters; Deborah Parr Eastwood (Dan) of Waukesha, WI, Angie Parr Froscheiser (Kary) of Herndon, VA, and Sabrina Parr Duhe of Ponchatoula, LA, five beloved grandchildren; Bryce Eastwood, Camille Froscheiser, Karl Froscheiser, Trey Duhe and Olivia Duhe, one great grandchild, Kimberleigh Froscheiser, and five nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Beryl C. Weems, Jadel Weems, Carolyn Weems Null, Belinda Jeanne Parr (daughter) and son-in-law Lionel B. Duhe Jr.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT. Friends may call on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 6:00 ‚ 8:00 P.M. at Larkin Mortuary and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
