Charles K. Maurer

1958 ~ 2018

My Charlie bear was the most amazing talented loving man. He was the love of my life for 17 years, but Heaven needed you more, so we let you go. You are free from pain to ride that Harley in the sky. He had a tremendous amount of love to give to all that knew him. He loved his family, riding his Harley, leatherworking, Blacksmithing, music and just hanging with his friends. To all the Railroad brothers out there he loved you guys Ryan, Andy, Elmo, Matt, Malcom and Zeb ‚ "Brothers for Life". Richard thank you for your life long friendship. David and Sylvia thank you for being there for him. James keep playing those rockin tunes so he can jam in Heaven!

Charlie is survived by his wife Nancy; mom and dad Pat and John Maurer, His sister Annette and family; brother Scott and family; his beautiful daughter Rose, whom he loved so much and was so proud of her and her family. Blash your prayer was the miracle for his journey home. His Son Weston whom he loved dearly and many extended family members.

Special thanks to Summit Hospice, we could not have done this without your love and support. Kim, Betty Jane and Annette, what an amazing team you were with him. To Homefront Personal Care thank you for supporting our family.

Celebration of Charlie's life will be held on Saturday November 3rd at Alta Heights Ward, 1475 East 8600 South, Sandy from 2-5 pm for family and friends. We will also have a Celebration November 8th at Eagles Lodge, 1104 West 2100 South, Salt Lake City from 6-10 pm for all his "Brothers". Online condolences may be offered at www.larkincares.com
