Arvid Webster passed away at his home May 16, 2016. He lived in Sandy most all his life and filled his 87 years with love and service including: U.S. Air Force duty, missionary work, house mover, plastics fabricator, fireplace log manufacturer and Kennecott welder. Dad worked hard, always helping others and did much good. He loved family activities, being out-of-doors, music, singing, dancing, building some project plan or idea, and his beloved horse Bartez.
Survivors are Virginia, his wife of 59 years, children Jenny, Matthew, Michael, Paul, Tony, Randy and Stephen, siblings Mariel and Judy.
Our loving thanks go to the staff of Harmony Health and the many friends who visited him at his home. Also to his daughter Jenny, who gave constant loving and tender care to him the last 6 years.
For now, Dad has just relocated. He is not gone from us forever, but is only away for a short season. We all look forward to that glorious day of reunion and being together with him again.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillcrest 7th Ward, 8485 S. 1000 E. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 ‚ 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 ‚ 10:45 a.m. at the same location. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
