Jacob Hayes Acord was born April 26, 1999 and left us all, too soon, on April 15, 2015. Jake was a sophomore at Murray High School. He was funny, always smiling, and loved his friends and family. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and his dog, Ace. Jake was an amazing wrestler and was so excited to get his driver\s license. He had a caring heart for animals and his friends. Jake often talked about wanting to be a veterinarian. Jake\s favorite city was Chicago and he loved playing Xbox with Joey. In passing, he was adamant about being an organ donor and his wish was honored by his family. In this way he blessed many other lives.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Jerry and Karen Acord. He is survived by his parents, Darren Acord, Heather Acord (David Helms), and his brother Colemann, step brother Royce Wright and Step sister, Ambraya Wright. Friends and family are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.) Sandy. A visitation will be held prior from 10:00-10:45 am. Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
