Jill passed away December 8, 2015 from surgery complications surrounded by her loving family at the age of 49. Jill was born August 1, 1966 at Holy Cross Hospital to Deon Davis Crawford and Carolyn Hogan Crawford. Jill was a good child and wonderful student. In her adult years she attended Eagle Gate College studying medical billing and coding. She made the Dean's list with a 4.0. Jill was a positive, loving woman with a big heart. She always did her best to make everyone happy. She made a huge impact on everyone she met. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, cousin, mother, and grandmother (or Nana). Jill loved life most when she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Jill is survived by her mother, Carolyn, siblings; Kyle Jones (Kristi), Christine Jones (Kelly) and Jana Crawford, children; Tasha Memmott (Alex), Kaela Mortenson (Michael), Devan Memmott and Darian Memmott (Jordan), grandchildren who were so special to her; Maddylynne Mortenson and Alex Trujillo (Aj), her fur baby, a cat named Luna, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Deon Crawford, brother, Rodney Jones, sister, Tiffany Crawford and grandson, Xander Toliver-Memmott (her special angel). The family is comforted knowing she has Xander in her arms.
Tasha: Mama I love you so much and think about you every day. I am so thankful that you got to be with Aj. I will always tell him and future babies about you every day and play our videos for him so we can hear you.
Kaela: Mom, I love you and will be thinking of you always. I will keep you close to my heart, and promise to tell Maddy and my future children how wonderful their grandma was and that you are taking care of their brother. Thank you for being such an amazing momma. I love you to infinity and beyond!
Darian: Mommy, I love you so very much. You\re my everything. My only regret is not having children or getting married sooner. It was always my dream to have you in my delivery room holding my hand and at my wedding doing my hair and makeup. I\ll miss you every second of every day. Thank you for being such an amazing momma. I love you, my best friend, my hero, my other half, my mommy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) in Sandy. Friends and family may visit on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
