Wayne proudly served with the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a dedicated employee of Hercules Powder Company where he worked as amachinist for 27 years. His children and grandchildren will forever cherish the many camping and river trips they were able to share. He was a strong, spiritualand loving man of few words that enjoyed spending time with his family. An incredibly industrious handyman who found no job beyond his ability, often crafting his own tools to accommodate the needs of the job. He enjoyed sharing his passion for fixing things by including his children and grandchildren in many projects. Everyone knew that if they needed help with a project or were stumped trying to figure out how to complete a job, Wayne was the man to call.
