Mary Ann Whalen, 52, of Sandy, UT passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born December 31, 1966 in Evansville, IN. She graduated from Reitz High School in 1985 and Indiana State University Evansville. She worked at Ally Bank for 27 years. Her bubbly personality and wit will be greatly missed by her family, friends and co-workers.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband Greg McCoy of Sandy, UT and her German Shepherd Po, mother Barbara Whalen of Newburgh IN, sisters Linda Okamura Whalen (Gordon), Sharon Whalen (Ace), both of Hawaii, Janice Hochstetler (Daniel) of Chandler IN and her nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father David Whalen and sister Diane Whalen.
Mary Ann and Greg were involved in dog training and loved their German Shepherds as members of their family. A celebration of her life was held in Sandy, UT.
