Jeanette Turner

1949 ~ 2015

Jeanette returned home to her Heavenly Father on Mar. 1, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Jan. 13, 1949 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Joseph and Teresa Grincato.

Jeanette was an elegant lady. She had many talents. She accomplished many great things, but she had a special spiritual talent for touching the hearts and lives of others.

She was a convert to the LDS Church and was baptized by the love of her life, Bob, her devoted husband for 45 years. They left New York and their families shortly after their marriage and moved to Utah. The gospel of Jesus Christ was an integral part of her life. She carried her scriptures everywhere she went. Jeanette never ceased learning more about the gospel and bearing her strong testimony. She had a great love for genealogy and temple work. She was an inspirational teacher.

Jeanette wanted to be a mother. It took a while. She was so happy for the birth of each of her beautiful daughters. She was a proud grandmother to 5 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.

She enjoyed learning, reading, crafts, flowers, and the color purple. She really loved cooking. Jeanette was queen of the kitchen. She was famous for her Italian cooking and baking. She shared her tasty talent with many people.

She contributed greatly in her professional career as a realtor. Jeanette was a realtor for 18 years. She was the top salesperson for the Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Two Million Dollar Club. She was the best at everything she did.

Jeanette is survived by her husband; daughters, Heather Savage and Laurie (Justin) Vincent; 7 grandchildren; mother, Teresa Grincato; and sister, Angela Grincato.

Funeral service will be Thurs., Mar. 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Union 4th Ward, 1834 E. Creek Rd. (7995 So.). Viewing will be held Wed, Mar. 4, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at The Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 So.) and Thurs. at the Ward 9:30-10:30 a.m. Entombment Larkin Sunset Gardens Mausoleum.
