  • Remembering... Celladoor Tulie Poinsetta Artensia Houston Crockett, known as Cella or Celladoor. She was called home to our Heavenly Father on May 31st, 2020 at 3:33 am at the age of 92. She is very loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arvus Udel Crockett. She had one child, Dawna Joy Crockett, born on February 7th, 1951 and died December 12th, 1975 and had one granddaughter, Bonnie Blue Dumas, and one great grandson, Anthony Kesse. Cella was born on May 20th, 1928 in Des Moines, Iowa to her parents, James Garfield Houston and Iowa Victoria Ryckman and had ten siblings. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1944. She was in the Air Force doing secretarial work. She continued this line of work in the Salt Lake school district in the lunch department for twenty-five years and then retired. She enjoyed arts, poetry, reading, and writing books, along with a few of her own. She loved cooking and decorating, especially on holidays. The viewing will be held at Larkin Mortuary at 260 East South Temple on June 9th, 2020 from 9:30 am-10:30 am. The graveside service will be held at the Salt Lake City Cemetery at 11:00 am at 200 North N Street.
