Listen to Obituary
Dianne Lynne Knowles Kloer, age 76, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 28th, 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dianne was born November 2nd, 1949 in Salt Lake City to David William Knowles and Marjorie Carrol Phelps Nagel. She was married to the love of her life, Gregory Charles Kloer, in Salt Lake City on November 4th, 1966.
Dianne loved camping, fishing with her best friend Gilbert, crafting and playing cards with one of her kindest, dearest friends LaVaugn. Dianne’s greatest joys were her grandkids, Ricci and Trever; they will always be the light of her life. Dianne was also blessed enough to be able to see and meet her great grandson Beckett.
Dianne is survived by her daughter Gwendolynne Kloer; two grandchildren, Ricci (Christian) Pitts and Trever (Sydnee) Keller; great grandson, Beckett (who could always make her smile); son Bob Kloer; and best friend and partner Gilbert Woo.
Preceded in death by her husband Gregory C. Kloer, father David W Knowles, Dad Kenneth Nagel, mother Carroll Nagel, and brother David Knowles.
Mom, we can't even begin to imagine life without you. You were larger than life, you were so selfless, caring and always put your family first. You protected us, you supported us and always, always loved us more than life. Never good bye, just see you later.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 at 11am at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT. Friends and family may gather 1 hour prior. You may watch the service online through Zoom using the "Watch Service" button above.
I need to give a very, very special thanks to Sandra and Troy Cordova, Jodie Santiago and her boys, as well as the Symbii Hospice care team. Our family couldn’t have gotten through this without you.

Good bye dear cousin. Don
And where would we have figured out how to climb cherry tree, with large bowl, pick and scamper back down, not spilling cherries without you.
Love you cousin.
so sorry for your loss
