A hug from Dave and I. I didn’t know your mom, but she had to be a special person because she raised an amazing daughter: you. Wishing you and family peace and comfort during this time of loss.
Sorry about your loss.
Joann and my mom Emma Lou Wann loved each other and were very close growing up - jumping on beds and having a great time together. When Joann was 12 years old, she ran to Lucille and Dee Wann's house to see Emma Lou. Joann had heard that Lucille was pregnant! Oh was Emma Lou (age 14) flabbergasted that Joann found out the secret before she did. Emma Lou was also embarrassed that her mom, almost 40 years old, was going to have a baby. Of course, all turned out well in the end.
Jo Jo brought so much kindness and joy to those around her. She will be deeply missed, but her warmth and laughter will always be remembered. Sending love and comfort to her family and friends during this difficult time.
