Tributes

I got to know Ken, through my Fiance, Tom Bock, Janell and Terry's cousin. I would see him at Christmas. He was a very dapper Gentleman. Always had a big smile and big hug for all. He was kind and loving. Will miss seeing his beautiful smile.

Ken was pure sunshine. Getting to know him at my regular coffee shop was a joy. He greeted everyone with a warm handshake and a sweet smile. His kindness and genuine care touched everyone he met. I already miss seeing him and hearing his voice. He will be deeply missed. 🤍

It was a delight to know Ken and Jan.

Ken was a wonderful photographer who skillfully composed and captured commercial and industrial images for corporate annual reports, advertising campaigns and in-house promotional materials. He was versatile, conscientious, and deeply committed to his work, always striving to satisfy his clients in every way.

In the days when Vericolor and Ektachrome film were the standard, Ken brought his film to Borge Andersen and Associates for processing and printing. Ken would drop off the film, and a few days later Jan would pick it up. I was always happy to see either of them, and we shared many thoughtful and enjoyable conversations over the years.

Ken's sense of humor and warm laughter created many fond memories for me. Both he and Jan brought kindness and warmth to those around them, and I feel fortunate to have known them.

May their family and friends find peace and comfort in the memories of two thoughtful and caring people whose lives touched so many.

With deepest sympathy,
Charlotte Stewart,

Grandpa Ken-
I can’t imagine having a better Grandpa!! You taught lessons through your actions and not just your stories or words.
You made us all feel like your favorite. I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful memories to keep in my heart forever.
Thank you for being the example you were. Thank you for always being there for us all.
You will remain in our hearts forever.
Love you, Grandpa!

So sorry we can't be there in person, sending our warmest wishes for peace and comfort.
Ken was such an icon in the neighborhood, will miss him as much as we miss the Ethingtons and Jan from the Hawthorne group. Take care, love and enjoy the memories!
